SYNOPSIS OF OUR PROJECTS

“OOPSEY DAISEY” (Streaming Series Pilot)

by Clarence H. Walton

Oopsey Daisey is a coming of age story about an awkward fifteen year old girl, Daisey Sue Preston. Daisey is the youngest of four siblings, from a black, blue collar family who faces her fears of rejection and insecurity through a “divine intervention” and a revelation of “the power of words”. By the Grace of God she finds the strength and courage to overcome the obstacles in her life. An experience which brings her to a renewed faith and trust in God.

The storyline is engaging and provides much detail and internal dialogue throughout, which allows viewers to feel as though they are with Daisey as she navigates family life and the overcoming of lies being told to her from the enemy. The characters are easily relatable, which amplifies the power of the faith based message and themes throughout. The story incorporates Scripture that will provide viewers with tools to combat the enemy in their own lives, just as Daisey was able to do! Overall, the story is incredibly relatable with enjoyable truth clothed within this fictitious story that will encourage others in their own walk with the Lord. Each episode Daisey will address youth issues, using faith and the Word to resolve the issues.

"CHERRY HILL" (Feature Film)

by Clarence H.Walton

Sarah Abrams, a Caucasian with the heart of Mother Theresa, and Lynn Allen, a strong-willed Afro-American, have been friends since college. After Graduate School Sarah and Lynn both worked together as counselors at a State Institution For Orphans. For years they've planned for the day when they would open a Foster Home with transitional housing facilities that would make a difference in the lives of a seemingly forgotten segment of our youth, "teen orphans". Their goal is to help prepare teen orphans for their place in the community once they've reached the age they no longer will be taken care of by the system, by providing a home built on faith, love, hope, and respect for themselves and others. With the help of family, friends, and a few civic-minded businessmen in the community they lease an old run-down farmhouse, once a cherry farm, that sits on 300 acres of land on the outskirts of the city. Through their hard work and determination, they turn the farmhouse into their dream come true, "Cherry Hill Youth Home". Sarah and Lynn are preparing for their third-year anniversary celebration and the building of their first transitional housing facilities. The home that has been a loving, peaceful environment that has nurtured the hopes for a brighter future for its twelve teenage orphans is suddenly being challenged by its newest teen, a troubled youth, William "Blade" Garner, aka Billy the Blade, threatening the peace and harmony of the home.

Sarah and Lynn's faith is further put to the test when the future of the home is jeopardized through a confrontation and a hostile takeover by their greedy, ambitious, landlord, Sam Goodman. At the same time, Sarah and Lynn are planning to exercise their option to purchase the property, Sam Goodman is offered millions of dollars for the land and is not above using any means necessary to retain ownership. Sarah and Lynn find themselves in a fight for the future existence of Cherry Hill and that of the kids. During the course of what appears to be a hopeless situation, they discover the true character and strength of the family they've formed with the kids, proving that faith and determination can overcome all adversities if you're willing to stand your ground, and having done all to stand.
